Don’t miss out on Rosé Day—a walking wine festival that raises awareness for nonprofits empowering women and girls in STL—or the Greek Festival. During the summer, be sure to check out the live music in the streets on Friday nights. 
 
CWE’s biggest attraction is Forest Park—the site of the famous 1904 World’s Fair. Known as “the heart of St. Louis,” this urban park is home to many incredible (and free) attractions like the St. Louis Zoo—ranked #1 in the nation—the Missouri History Museum, and the St. Louis Art Museum, a permanent structure from the 1904 World’s Fair. The World Chess Hall of Fame is another excellent attraction, as is the St. Louis Basilica—home of the most extensive collection of mosaics in the world. And every Fall St. Louisans gather for the annual “Balloon Glow” in Forest Park, the precursor to the famous annual Air Balloon Race.
